Packaging
 At Gift Hut we pride ourselves on our complete customer service, including how your gift is presented for delivery. Your gift comes wrapped in plush white tissue paper, sealed with our Gift Hut label. It is then packaged into appropriate boxes or mailing envelopes. There is no Fee for standard packaging. Freight Gift Hut uses a weight system to determine shipping prices. All goods are weighed and tiered into weight categories. When you get to the checkout we will tell you the number of goods and there total weight. Don't Panic , you can safely go right through the checkout process to view your total cost including postage. You will not be charged for the goods until you click the payment option.
Gift Hut uses Australia post registered parcel service for National deliveries (Australia wide) all National deliveries can track there parcels progress. This service requires a signature. Most postage costs to all Australian destinations are under $10. Aust post uses a weight system but to give you an idea we have created a list of approx estimates for you.

International Orders Orders weighing up to 2kg we use Registered International post for all International delivery's, estimated delivery time for International orders is 3-10 working days. $100 compensation cover is included already in the price of the International Registered post service, should compensation be required. All orders weighing over 2kgs (which is above the limit for registered International post) we use regular air mail services. Delivery confirmation will be requested. Please note Registered International post charges the same amount for all goods up to the weight of 500grams. For example if your item only weighs 100grams it is the same cost as an item weighing 500grams. The difference in price between normal air mail and registered International is about $10.
We want to keep the postage as cheap as we can for our International customers, however are hands are tied with the rates set by the postal service. Gift Hut has opted for the Registered parcel service in most instances rather than standard air mail for two reasons, there is a compensation amount included in the price of up to $100 in the Registered price fee and you must sign for delivery which is proof that your goods got to there destination. I'm sure you will agree for the small increase in price this is in the best interests of everyone. If International customers would rather pay airmail prices due to them being cheaper, we can certainly arrange this, please use our live chat feature and we can tell you how much, obviously the risk is on you once the goods leave our hands as we have no proof of delivery as with registered post service.
